What is kinesiology?
Kinesiology is a practice that works with the energetic systems of the body (meridians, nadis, chakras). We use muscle biofeedback to find where they may be stress occurring in your body systems, and then remediate it with a variety of tools and protocols.
Whats involved?
You will bring an issue that you have going on in your life.
We are happy to work with a variety of concerns; physical, emotional, social or metaphysical.. theres nothing we can’t work with!
You will be laying down, and the practitioner will use the muscle tests to identify and find solutions for dissipating stress in the body systems.
Some sessions may involve a lot of testing arm and leg muscles.
Some may involve more talking and exploring emotions and symptoms.
Each session is different and we are very much guided by the muscular feedback as to what is required.
What are the muscle tests telling you?
Our brains have different parts. Just as we don’t consciously control our heart beat, we sometimes aren’t consciously aware of issues that the body is holding. The body has an innate intelligence and these muscle tests tell us where there is stress relating to your issue, and also guides the practitioner on what tools it would like to help resolve that stress.
How do I know if its worked?
The results of kinesiology can be varied depending on what we’re working on. Sometimes you may feel physical changes and dissolved pain. Other times it can be extremely subtle, like a difference in mental chatter or a varied response to a triggering stimuli. Patients almost always leave feeling lighter and less hindered by their concerns.
Whats the difference between neuro-energetic kinesiology and other types?
The training I’ve received is from the work of Hugo Tobar.
Since Applied Kinesiology (AK) was developed, in the 1960’s by Goodheart, several branches or streams have been developed. The type of kinesiology we practice is neuro-emotional and consciousness-bridging branches of AK.
What is a reading?
Its a block of time allocated to accessing and interpreting the information that comes forward.
What to expect in a reading?
When working with new people, its always good to start by exploring both the lower and the higher aspects of yourself, for both of our understanding.
Lower being some of the information about some of the limiting beliefs you hold and some of your dysfunctions that you play out to affirm those limiting beliefs. It could be some of the things you say and do that keep you trapped in a place that you don’t want to be: which is helpful because often we are programmed with social cues and familial tendencies we often don’t think much of certain ways of saying or doing things until we know where its come from.
Higher is a lot to do around what your greatness is. What are the skills and talents that are so inherent to you as an individual, that its your souls journey to continue to explore that and bring that forward in your life. It could be exploring the higher action that needs to be taken to achieve your hearts desires or your current goal.
What do I do with the information that comes forward?
Its entirely up to you what you do with the information.
I’d say, if something stands out or resonates with you, its probably something that requires some attention.
If there is information that you don’t like, you have the choice to pick up that or not. Not all of the information will be in your comfort zone, but thats different from dissonance.
If there is information that discusses best course of action to be taken, then its really up to you to choose if you take action on that or not. Often you have to apply your own free will towards this.
Do I need to bring anything?
No, you just need to bring yourself.
For remote readings, you will usually need a zoom account or we can arrange a different platform if required.
